In place of live concerts this season, we are offering a series of on line broadcasts of some of our favorite performances in recent years, with introductory background and commentary from our Music Director.
This weekend, we conclude our Haydn miniseries with the composer’s majestic and heartfelt Harmoniemesse — the last of his late, great masses and one of his most expansive and original works.
Joseph Haydn (1732-1809)
Mass No. 14 in B-flat (“Harmoniemesse”)
With introduction from the music director
Recorded live at Grace Church in New York
